Social Training Intro Package

Welcome to Canines & Co.!

We are delighted to welcome you and your dog to Social Training at Canines & Co.

Our Social Training program offers a thoughtfully structured day designed to support your dog’s physical wellbeing, mental enrichment, confidence, and social development.

Throughout the day, dogs enjoy a carefully balanced combination of exercise, toy play, supervised social interaction, calm activities, engagement, and individualized basic training with our experienced trainer. Each activity has a purpose — helping your dog develop focus, self-control, confidence, and appropriate social skills while still allowing them to enjoy being a dog.

At Canines & Co., we take great care in creating a calm, safe, and balanced environment. All dogs attending our school are carefully selected and trained, allowing your dog to learn and interact in an environment where positive social behaviour and good manners are consistently reinforced.

Our goal is more than simply keeping your dog busy for the day. We want every dog to leave physically fulfilled, mentally enriched, socially confident, and better equipped to navigate everyday life.

School Instructions

Payment:

Please pay your booking fees before arrival if you haven't already

Location:
- Training facility is located at 1348 Wilson Ave Kelowna

Drop Off:
- Between 800-930 am
- Please park in the driveway when possible and text us when you arrive 250-328-5616
- Training facility is in the back yard in a separate building, we will meet you at the front and bring your dog in
- Your dog must pee and poop at home before being dropped off
- Dogs are absolutely not permitted to pee/mark on premises on the way in or out

Pick Up:
- Between 3-430pm
- Please text us 250-328-5616 when you arrive and we will bring your dog to the front

Parking:
- Its preferred you park in the driveway
- If there is no room, please park on Wilson Ave.

Pack:
- No need to pack anything for Social Training unless your puppy requires special treat diet or is under 6 months and requires lunch
- Have your dog wearing a flat collar and have a leash for drop off
- No Apple tags
- Its preferred the tags and info are attached to the collar vs hanging metal tags
- ***to prevent bloat or stomach upset, either feed your dog breakfast at least 2 hours before school
- ***if your dog is young (under 6 months) please pack lunch to feed mid day

Payments and Bookings:

If you need to cancel a booking, please request to do so on the booking site and you will receive credit/refund
Ask us if you’d like to book Social Training days in addition to Day Training
After the initial 2 months of training, you can book in whatever frequency you want to for Training/ Exercise/ Social Days
Whatever grouping you book in, you pay, for example if you book 2 months at a time that is what is due at the first booking
If you'd prefer to pay in smaller increments let us know
We take most stats off in the spring and summer but stay open for most winter stats
We occasionally need to change a booking but we will give you lots of notice
You will receive email reminders about your bookings (you can opt out of reminders if you don't wish to receive them)

Discount:

if your dog attends 3 or more times a week on a regular basis you are eligible for discounted rate to attend, please ask us for details
